Two weeks ago the obituary Erik Sydow wrote in honor of his sister, Karen Sydow, who was a Tierra Associate for over three decades, was Tweeted by Daniel Miller, a journalist for the Los Angeles Times. Catching the attention of thousands of readers, Karen's obituary went viral.
In addition to an unforgettable smile, Erik shared publicly that Karen was notably a big McDonald's fan, and one of the three words she knew how to say was "Donalds."
Upon learning this, one of local McDonald’s franchisee decided to team up (with a location in West Hills) for restaurant fundraisers in Karen's honor to support Tierra!
Come out and support!
