ELIGIBLE NOW: On Monday, teachers and workers in education and childcare, food and agriculture, and emergency services became eligible for vaccination at City of Los Angeles sites. Vaccinations remain open for those who were already eligible: residents 65 and older, healthcare workers, certain essential front-line workers, and residents and staff of skilled nursing facilities.
 
UP NEXT: The State announced that vaccinations will open to residents between 16 and 64 years old who have certain disabilities or severe underlying medical conditions on March 15th. Sign up to be automatically notified when you become eligible for the vaccine. You can also check what phase you'll be in.
 
VACCINATION SITES: More than 500 locations are currently vaccinating people in L.A. County. As more doses become available in the coming months, more sites and providers will administer shots. When your turn arrives, you can make an appointment through the County hub and bring your ID to the site. If you are 65 or older, have a disability, or do not have access to the internet and need assistance making your vaccination appointment, you can contact the County’s Call Center –– open from 8 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. –– at (833) 540-0473. You can also talk with your doctor about getting vaccinated.

New Vaccine Tier NOW OPEN - Phase 1B - Tier 1

March 1 saw LA County Public Health expand vaccinations to several groups that are now qualified to receive vaccinations in addition to healthcare workers and seniors over age 65, including: food service workers, education and childcare workers, and emergency service workers.
 
Councilwoman Rodriguez continues to advocate for those hardest hit by COVID-19 and is proud to announce that starting Tuesday, March 2, 2021 pop-up vaccine sites will be open for Council District 7 residents who are eligible.
 
Eligible groups now include food service workers, farm workers, animal agriculture workers, emergency services workers, education and childcare workers, healthcare workers, long-term care facilities residents and seniors aged 65 and older. ID is required to show that you are a Council District 7 resident (Pacoima, Sylmar, North Hills, Mission Hills, Lakeview Terrace, Sunland, Tujunga and Shadow Hills).
 
Appointments are required, and all pop-up vaccine sites are walk-up only. Residents are instructed to call the corresponding office phone number in the flyers for any questions or to set up an appointment.

FREE Mobile Vaccine Pop-Up Clinics - Council District 7

From the office of Councilwoman Monica Rodriguez, 7th District:
 
We are bringing Mobile Vaccine Pop-Up Clinics to Council District 7, beginning on March 2. We will be signing up both healthcare workers and seniors over age 65 to receive free Pfizer vaccinations at these mobile clinics, which are walk-up.
 
Appointments are required, and identification will also be required for presentation (two forms for healthcare workers, 1 form of identification for seniors). If you are a resident of Council District 7 and fall into either of these categories, please contact our office directly at 818-352-3287 to be scheduled for both your first and second appointment.
 
Please see flyers with more detailed information to share out with your networks; we have translated these into both Spanish and Armenian as well, so please share out as widely as possible so we can continue to get vaccinations to our most vulnerable populations. Thank you and stay safe!

VACCINATION QUALIFICATIONS TO EXPAND ON MARCH 1

Starting Mar. 1, those who are essential workers e.g., supermarkets, restaurants, food processors, agricultural workers, educators, child care specialists, teachers, police officers, fire, and court personnel will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination. Those over 16 years old with chronic medical conditions will also be eligible to make a vaccination appointment from Mar. 15.

FREE COVID-19 TESTING - NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED

Second Dose Vaccinations Impacted by Severe Winter Weather

Second dose vaccination appointments at City sites for Friday, February 19 and Saturday, February 20 have been postponed as severe winter weather across the country continues to delay vaccine shipments. Friday patients were already notified by text, e-mail, or phone, and Saturday patients will receive notifications throughout today. Note: Appointments at mobile vaccination clinics are not impacted by the vaccine shipment delays.
 
Once the City confirms the arrival of a new shipment of doses in the days ahead, all patients who missed their appointment will be prioritized and receive a notification with details of their new automatically rescheduled appointment.
